Initially, people only wanted to fill their spare time
On this 500 square meters land, local residents plant various vegetables, shade trees, and productive trees, such as spinach, mustard greens, pumpkin, tomatoes, cassava, mango, star fruit, and cucumber. They also build catfish ponds at the location.
"Initially, people only wanted to fill their spare time because since the COVID-19 outbreak, they had a lot of time at home. Then, they chose to start farming activities," explained Hendro, RT 01/10 Head, Ciracas Sub-district, on Monday (8/10).

"We will ask East Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency for fish and plant seeds assistance thus our environment can be more greener and beautiful. Because previously this land was filled with garbage, debris, and wild plants," he conveyed.
